Director Level Finance Position – Entry Level Software
Here’s the job:
The Director, Finance and Administration plays both a strategic role in the overall management of the company’s finances ; managing the accounting operations and developing the infrastructure, analysis and processes from finance to office management; including IT to support business decisions needed to drive business growth across the Company. This role ensures that the organization develops and maintains the proper financial policies, procedures, controls and compliance.

A company in technology research using an old version of a $200 accounting package wants their new Director of Finance and Administration to produce the analysis to drive business growth. And you know what? My experience is that the new employee won’t want to make waves by demanding a proper system. (S)he will just hunker down and do everything with manual spreadsheets. Accountants!
